Bankruptcy petition of Bela Lugosi, filed in U.S. District court, lists $2,965 in liabilities and $600 worth of possible assets. Largest debt was the $1,000 clothing bill over Alexander & Oviatt. Lugosi listed four suits of clothes valued at $100 and a $500 equity in furniture as his assets.
