In his only appearance on “radio’s outstanding theater of thrills”, Bela Lugosi was cast as Professor Antonio Bacile, a psychologist who believes that someone who has decided to commit suicide can be persuaded to instead kill another person. When his theory is mocked by his editor, Bacile decides to set about proving it and extracting revenge upon his detractor. The script was reused on an episode of The Whistler radio show broadcast on June 11th 1944 with William Conrad in the title role.
