Bela Lugosi appeared at the premiere of the Universal film Seed at the Cathay Circle Theatre along with a host of stars including Jean Harlow, Thelma Todd, Cecil B. DeMille, Gloria Swanson and Bette Davies. The event was dedicated to Carl Laemmle.
