Monster Bash 2011

My Vampire Over London: Bela Lugosi In Britain co-author Frank Dello Stritto will be among the guests at this year’s Monster Bash, where he’ll be giving a talk entitled “My Search For Bela Lugosi”. Anyone who’s been lucky enough to listen to any of Frank’s previous talks will know that this will be an event not to be missed. Frank’s reputation as one of the “most eloquent chroniclers of horror films” is richly deserved.

Accompanied by his wife Linda, Frank will also be selling copies of both Vampire Over London: Bela Lugosi In Britain and his equally fascinating second book  A Quaint & Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore: The Mythology & History of Classic Horror Films.

Other guests include Richard Gordon (former manager of Bela Lugosi and producer of such cult classics as The Haunted Stranger, Corridors Of Blood – both starring Boris Karloff – and Fiend Without A Face), Robert Dix (Star of Forbidden Planet, Blood Of Dracula’s Castle, Frankenstein’s Daughter), Ed Nelson (Star of Invasion Of The Saucer Men, Attack Of The Crab Monsters, The Brain Eaters, Boris Karloff’s Thriller, The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits) and “Hammer’s Dracula Girls” Veronica Carlson, Yvonne Monclaur and Caroline Munro.

The Monster Bash will be held at the Days Inn Conference Center, Butler, PA, USA from June 24th – 26th. You can find full details at:
